Emiline Stewart recently won The NCWIT (National Center for Women in Technology) WIS (Women in Security) $2,500 Computer Aspirations Scholarship Award!  The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a non-profit community of more than 1,100 universities, companies, non-profits, and government organizations nationwide working to increase girls’ and women’s meaningful participation in computing. NCWIT equips change leaders with resources for taking action in recruiting, retaining, and advancing women from K–12 and higher education through industry and entrepreneurial careers.


Also earned KC scholars is 10,000/yr for up to 5yrs, and KU Excellence Scholarship is 16,084/yr for 4yrs as well as the State of Missouri Bright Flight Award.  Emiline is enrolled in the cyber security program for 2017-18 at Summit Tech. Ms. Stewart is a two year state champion in cyberpatriot, for which her team was 16th in the nation 2017 and 13th in the nation 2018 in cyberpatriot.  Additionally, she won 2nd place district Internetworking SkillsUSA competition as well as 2nd place state Internetworking SkillsUSA. Emiline is CompTIA Network+ certified. She is currently working for Fishtech Group as an intern in cyber security on the Cyderes team.  Emiline is a LSWHS 2018 graduate.
