Each year, the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce Education Committee awards five $1,000 scholarships to college-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated a strong work ethic, commitment to community involvement and an endless pursuit of continued growth and improvement in all facets of their lives. One scholarship winner is selected from each of the three Lee’s Summit public high schools, a Lee’s Summit private high school and one from a school outside of the district. The scholarship must be used within the same year it is received.
Applicants must:
  • Be pursuing a higher education degree from an accredited institution
  • Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative, unweighted GPA at 7th semester
  • Have at least one parent or guardian working full-time for a company/organization that is a member in good standing of the Lee’s Summit Chamber
Interested students should submit a completed application, resume and official transcript to the Chamber no later than 5 p.m. February 23, 2022.
