Jeremy Bonnesen, Ed. D.
Director/Principal of STA
Dr. Bonnesen is the director/principal of Summit Technology Academy (STA) at The Missouri Innovation Campus. Dr. Bonnesen nearly 30 years of experience in education. He has received numerous awards and recognitions within the educational and civic arenas, including Lee’s Summit Community Reflections of Character Award Recipient, Kansas City Connector Recognition by the Kauffman Foundation, and a Lee’s Summit School District Excellence in Teaching Recipient. He holds a doctorate and specialist’s degree in educational leadership from Saint Louis University. In addition, he also has earned a master’s degree in school counseling and a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Central Missouri.
Jeff Nevinski
Assistant Principal/Director of STA
Jeff Nevinski is the Assistant Principal/Director of Summit Technology Academy at the Missouri Innovation Campus. Mr. Nevinski brings a myriad of industry and educational experiences with him to STA. With degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, Mr. Nevinski started as a software developer for a Fortune 500 healthcare company before shifting his interests to Bioinformatics. He has more than a decade of experience as an instructor of Mathematics and Computer Science as well as five years experience as a PreK-12 Instructional Technology coach. Mr. Nevinski has a Master degree in Education from Rockhurst University and is currently a doctoral candidate for Educational Leadership through Baker University.
