This innovative program empowers students to meet nursing program prerequisites while earning an Associate of Arts (AA) Degree, and ultimately securing a coveted spot in one of five esteemed nursing programs in the Kansas City area.

Accelerated BSN Program starts at STA and MCC

The journey begins at Summit Technology Academy, where aspiring nurses gain a solid foundation in science, math, and healthcare fundamentals. High school students in this program receive specialized training and education to help them excel in their future nursing studies. Concurrently, students will complete their general education requirements and nursing program prerequisites by enrolling in courses at Metropolitan Community College (MCC), leading to the attainment of an Associate of Arts Degree.
